The Saga Carnival Event project was a full-spectrum event branding and visual experience crafted to capture the spirit, energy, and excitement of a live celebration through a cohesive design language.
For The Saga — a carnival-style event — DotBrand Advertising developed and implemented an end-to-end brand ecosystem that included logo and event identity, environmental graphics, stage and backdrop visuals, outdoor hoardings, promotional media, entry arches, accreditation kits, print collaterals, and digital creatives. The aim was to create a visually bold and immersive atmosphere that expressed the event’s vibrant energy while ensuring consistency and impact across every touchpoint, reinforcing the event’s presence in both physical and promotional spaces.
Design Approach
The visual direction combined vibrant color palettes, dynamic typography, and festive graphic elements to reflect the carnival’s energetic atmosphere. A scalable design system ensured consistency across large-format outdoor media and smaller branded touchpoints.
Challenges
The key challenge was to translate the high-energy, celebratory essence of a carnival into a unified visual identity that worked seamlessly across diverse media formats and large-scale environments.
Designing for The Saga meant creating a visual system capable of capturing the dynamic spirit of a live event while remaining functional and adaptable across a wide range of on-ground and digital assets. The brand identity needed to be vibrant and engaging enough to feel alive in physical spaces like stages and entry points, yet also maintain clarity and cohesion on printed materials, outdoor signage, and promotional media. Achieving that balance — honoring the festivity’s exuberance without overwhelming visual communication — was central to the project’s creative challenge.
